CG Utilities were appointed as Tier 2 contractors to install EV charge points across Bath and Oxfordshire in 2022. The provision of charging points to a significant proportion of parking spaces forms part of the clients development strategy to support increasing numbers of staff on site and its commitment to reducing CO2 emissions. The scope of the project involved the design and construction of the revised car park, and we undertook all responsibilities for the electrical engineering of the new EV section, installing the latest technology for the EV charging points to the highest quality standard. CG Utilities also undertook the ICP works out to the point of connection.
